We are pleased to announce that our annual 999 EMS Research Forum Annual Conference will take place on Tuesday 10 November 2026 , at the Green Park Conference Centre in Reading , hosted by the South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation. This year's conference is a one-day event featuring keynote speakers, oral presentations, rapid elevator presentations, and a moderated poster session. There will be prizes awarded for: Highest quality research Research most likely to affect practice Best poster Best rapid elevator pitch This conference is brought to you in association with South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SCAS) , The National Ambulance Research Steering Group (NARSG) and PRIME Centre Wales . Early bird ticket sales end on Tuesday 13 october 2026 at 23:59hrs . Following this full rate of £99 will apply. Refund policy No refund will be made for non-attendance. There is no charge for a delegate to substitute someone else to attend the conference. Background 999 EMS Research Forum The 999 EMS Research Forum is a UK based partnership that brings together academics and health-care providers with a research interest in emergency care. It has been actively promoting emergency care research since its formation in 1997. Board members come from a range of specialities and backgrounds and include paramedics and academics. Aims of the Forum: • To encourage, promote and disseminate research and evidence-based policy and practice in 999 healthcare • To develop links between emergency healthcare practitioners and the research community • To run an annual research conference providing an opportunity to disseminate research and run workshops to build research capacity • To continue developing international collaborations in prehospital care research
