De Italiaanse rockformatie AFTERHOURS komt in 2027 naar onze hoofdstad!AFTERHOURS werd in 1986 opgericht door frontman Manuel Agnelli (singer-songwriter, muzikant, platenproducent, auteur). Nog altijd verstevigen ze hun plek als een van de belangrijkste en langst bestaande bands in de Italiaanse rockgeschiedenis. De huidige bezetting bestaat uit Manuel Agnelli (zang), Andrea Viti (bas), Giorgio Prette (drums), Dario Ciffo (viool, gitaren, toetsen) en Giacomo Rossetti (gitaar, toetsen, percussie). De naam van de band was bedoeld als eerbetoon aan The Velvet Underground's track 'After Hours'. Hun debuut kwam met de single 'My Bit Boy' (1987), een jaar later gevolgd door de mini-lp 'All the Good Children Go to Hell'. Naast eigen werk, verzorgde de band ook een muzikale bijdrage voor Greg Dulli en Mark Lanegan's gezamenlijke project Gutter Twins.Ter viering van de 40e verjaardag van hun debuut-EP én de 25e verjaardag van het album 'Quello che non c’è' (2002), komt de band naar Melkweg. Een unieke kans om deze invloedrijke band live te ervaren!
