De in Londen gevestigde Schotse muziekschrijfster en redacteur Lauren Martin (voorheen werkzaam bij onder meer RBMA en DJ Mag), publiceerde in 2026 ‘Aftershock: The Seismic Impact of Dubstep’ via Velocity Press. Het boek vertelt de geschiedenis van het ontstaan van het Britse elektronische muziekgenre, aan de hand van uitgebreide interviews met belangrijke artiesten en figuren uit de muziekindustrie en exclusieve beelden van artiesten en fotografen. Tijdens deze audiovisuele Q&A-sessie, waarbij exclusieve foto’s en videobeelden worden getoond, zal Martin ingaan op de geschiedenis en invloed van dubstep, hoe de sound en principes ervan terug te vinden zijn in hedendaagse muziekscènes, en het belang van het archiveren van muziekcultuur.Aansluitend vind Amsterdam Dub Event plaats in de Max, met o.a. Moritz von Oswald en Radikal Guru. Er zijn combi-tickets te koop!In de Melkweg vinden vaak gelijktijdig verschillende soorten programma’s plaats, zoals concerten, clubnachten en films.
