About

Alkantara Fest XXII edition decorre de 29 de julho a 1 de agosto de 2027, em Zafferana Etnea.

Alkantara Fest, which, like the river from which it takes its name (Alcantara, which derives from the Arabic Al Quantarah, i.e. 'the bridge'), is an event dedicated since 2003 to the rediscovery and enhancement of folk and world music, both auteur and contemporary, through a research pathway on the musical styles currently in use, which allows us to safeguard the depth of our musical traditions and cultural roots, while projecting them into a current international panorama.
