BCC Advanced Course realiza-se de 6 a 8 de outubro de 2026, Daresbury Laboratory, em Daresbury.

The course is a follow-on from the Introductory Course held in Oxfordshire in 2024 and is for engineers and scientists with some experience of low temperature systems. Topics will cover a broad range of topics including: Cryostat operations Multi-layer insulation Instrumentation High Voltage Engineering at Low Temperatures Software Pipelines, bayonets, couplings, and valves Hydrogen Helium production, liquefaction, and storage Cryogenics at large scale research facilities Ultralow temperatures Cryogenics for quantum technology Cryogenics for astrophysics A full timetable will be published shortly. Early registration is recommended to avoid disappointment!
