Beyond Now | Brussels Strategic Foresight Summit 2026 The future cannot be predicted. But it can be explored. Beyond Now is a one-day international gathering dedicated to strategic foresight and futures thinking , bringing together practitioners, researchers, strategists, innovators and leaders to explore how we can better understand change, challenge assumptions and engage with possible futures. Across a curated programme of talks, conversations and panels, invited speakers will bring different perspectives on the evolving practice of strategic foresight. From emerging signals and alternative futures to foresight methods, strategy and decision-making, Beyond Now creates a space for serious conversations about how we think about what might come next. This is not a conference about predicting the future. It is a meeting place for people who want to become better at exploring it. Limited to 80 participants What We Will Explore Throughout the day, conversations may explore: Strategic foresight and futures thinking Signals of change and emerging developments Weak signals, trends and uncertainty Alternative and possible futures Scenarios and futures methods Foresight in organisations Foresight, innovation and strategy Emerging technologies and their implications Futures literacy Decision-making under uncertainty New approaches to foresight practice The evolving role of foresight in organisations and society The programme is intentionally multidisciplinary. Speakers are invited to bring their own research, practice, methodologies, case studies and provocations into the conversation.
