About

Black History Month: Soul Across the Diaspora acontece a 20 de outubro de 2026, The Actors, em Brighton.

A Black History Month celebration of poetry, music and art. Join us this Black History Month for an evening dedicated to soul, expression, appreciation, celebration and pride. Soul Across the Diaspora is a poetry night at heart, and it brings together spoken word, singing, live music, cabaret and an art exhibition in one room. Our line-up of artists shares work rooted in Black experience and identity. Some of them also explore race, disability and queerness, so the night reflects the full richness and intersections of our communities. Featuring: Bumi · Cash Green · Ebony Rose Dark · Jaz · Subira Joy · Sunny · Tia Ice · Trickstakes Accessibility The event will be taking place in the Theatre and is accessed by a flight of stairs. Tickets and Pay It Forward Tickets cost £5. We want this night to be open to everyone who wants to be there, so we offer a Pay It Forward option. If you can, add an extra contribution when you book, and it will cover a ticket for someone who can’t afford one right now. If you need a free ticket from the Pay It Forward fund, please email tricktakes@gmail.com Doors & Timings: 19:30 start, finishing at 22:30.
