Book Club!

Book Club! acontece a 28 de outubro de 2026, Purrfect Space, em Brighton and Hove.

This is a monthly Book Club that uaually takes place on the last Tuesday of every month at 6:00 pm . Please see our website or instagram page to learn which book we are reading currently. 🐾 House Rules Our workshop sessions take place in the shared home of our resident rescue cats. These guidelines are here to ensure a calm, safe, and respectful experience for both humans and cat Created for people who enjoy learning, reflecting and connecting with others, our Book Club offers a welcoming environment to explore books centred on wellbeing, personal development and gaining a deeper understanding of ourselves, the people around us and the wider world. At our first meeting, we'll be chatting about The Untethered Soul by Michael A. Singer . This inspiring book explores the constant inner dialogue we all experience and how stepping back from it can help us find greater calm and peace. Join us for engaging conversation, fresh insights, complimentary tea and biscuits, lots of cuddles with our rescue cats, and the company of friendly, like-minded people. Every ticket purchased helps support our rescue and rehoming efforts, with all proceeds going directly back into caring for the cats. Sanitise hands before interacting with cats Do not disturb cats who are sleeping or resting Do not pick up or chase cats Allow the cat to approach you first You may gently stroke them only if they appear comfortable Please give cats space and allow them to move freely Do not feed the cats (they are on specific diets) Please keep voices soft and noise levels low Please follow the guidance shared by the instructor at the beginning of the session, including any house rules relating to the cats. If at any point a cat comes too close and you feel it could become distracting or unsafe, please inform your instructor. You may gently redirect a cat if you feel comfortable doing so, but this is not expected. The instructor or a member of staff will be available to help if needed. Please do not pick up, grab, or carry cats around the room. Try to ignore the cats during the active workshop and allow them to go about their own business — resting, observing, or playing independently. By following these guidelines, you help us create a calm and safe environment for both people and cats.
