BRISTOL 1904 ARTS is delighted to welcome internationally acclaimed poet and composer Martin Kiszko for a unique evening celebrating one of history's greatest treasures, the Bayeux Tapestry . Through the world's first epic poem inspired by its remarkable story, Martin brings the famous tapestry vividly to life in a performance unlike any other. Created to mark the 1,000th anniversary of the birth of William the Conqueror, the evening combines poetry, storytelling and history, exploring the tapestry's symbolism, enduring mysteries and the fascinating questions that continue to captivate historians today.
