Collect LX Factory proudly presents Mike Shannon and Hreno on Friday, August 21st. For more than two decades, Mike Shannon has been one of the defining figures of the Canadian minimal house and techno movement. Born in Ontario and now based in Berlin, his productions and DJ sets have shaped a distinctive sound rooted in the grooves of Detroit and Chicago. As the founder of Cynosure and Haunt Recordings, Shannon has built a legacy through timeless releases, forward-thinking collaborations and an uncompromising approach to minimalist electronic music. Joining him is Hreno, the Montreal-born, Berlin-based producer and DJ whose deep, subtle approach to house and techno has earned him a respected place within the international underground. With releases on labels such as Fur Trade, Meander, Turbo and Autochtone, Hreno’s sound combines warmth, precision and an effortless sense of groove, making him a perfect counterpart to Shannon both in the studio and behind the decks. Having shared booths and line-ups across Europe for years, Mike Shannon and Hreno bring a musical dialogue built on trust, experience and a deep understanding of the dancefloor. Expect an extended journey through minimal house and techno from two artists whose influence continues to resonate across generations.
