Part treasure hunt, part museum adventure, 100% ridiculous fun — all celebrating the Bloomsbury Festival's 20th anniversary. 🏆 🏛️ THE MISSION You've got 90–120 minutes to race the clock, find treasures from the British Museum's permanent collection and rack up the points. Teams (3-4 people) photograph themselves in front of their treasure for game points (250 total). But there's a twist: bonus challenges (worth 2000+ points!) are embedded in the treasure text of your Culture Quest booklet. Leapfrog your competition for those who read carefully! Can you: · Find 710 BC graffiti on a Mesopotamian Lamassu? 🐂 · Earn bonus points by trotting like a Tang horse ? 🐎 · Recite a Hans Sloane limerick with a straight face?! 📍 MEETING POINT THE KNIDOS LION — Great Court, Ground Floor Enter through the main entrance on Great Russell Street and into the Great Court. Turn left and look for the giant 7-tonne Knidos Lion behind the circular information desk. Your Culture Quest host will be nearby with a Culture Quest clipboard. Please arrive in plenty of time to clear security, check bags and use the loo before your start time. ⏱️ HOW TO PLAY Briefing: Meet your Culture Quest host, collect your map, booklet and scribe sheet, and take five minutes to strategise. The Hunt: Set off through the museum and find as many treasures as you can. Read the treasure text carefully to uncover bonus challenges.
