Fast growing company, slow decisions: How to unblock your executive team - Portugal Tech Week 2026

Fast growing company, slow decisions: How to unblock your executive team - Portugal Tech Week 2026 realiza-se a 11 de novembro de 2026, PTW Palace - Rua Gomes Freire, em Lisboa.

When a company grows from 20 to 200 people, the founders can no longer make every call. Decisions stall, ownership blurs, and disagreements migrate from the boardroom into the corridor. Runway burns in that gap.The data behind this breakdown is clear:- 65% of high-potential startup failures stem directly from co-founder and leadership friction (Harvard / Noam Wasserman).- Only 20% of executives believe their company excels at decision-making, while 61% report that the time spent deciding is largely wasted (McKinsey).- Decision drag compounds quietly: as headcount multiplies, the latency between identifying a strategic problem and executing on it quadruples. This hands-on masterclass is designed for founders, CEOs, C-suite operators, and VC talent/operating partners navigating Seed to Series C scale. Facilitated by Sven Mulfinger and Vincent Azé of Kuma Partners, the session bypasses theory: 20 minutes of operational framework, followed by 40 minutes of live diagnostic work with the room. What you will walk away with:- Your company’s decision latency score: A concrete measure of how many days pass between a critical decision and allocated budget, hires, or shipped product.- A targeted decision rights compact: An unambiguous ownership framework for one specific decision currently stuck bouncing between stakeholders.- A rapid alignment diagnostic: A private lens to surface where you and your co-founder or leadership team diverge on strategic trade-offs, equity, or roadmap control. The session concludes with an executive hot seat: one founder brings a real, stalled decision, and the room works through it using structured inquiry without unsolicited advice or pitch theater.Limited seats. Bring a notebook and a pen.About us: www.kuma.partnersEvent details:Wednesday 11 November 202610:00 to 11:00, Lisbon timePTW Palace - Rua Gomes Freire, 98.
