About

Forecasting ecological dynamics realiza-se de 2 a 3 de novembro de 2026, The Royal Society, em London.

Ecosystems are complicated, containing thousands of interacting species, each also impacted by external forces like the climate. Ecologists’ record of predicting their dynamics is poor, yet many argue that effective management and conservation of biodiversity require accurate prediction. Should we call time on the aim of accurately forecasting living systems, or can novel approaches, including machine learning, save the day? For more information please visit the Royal Society website. Please note that registration will remain open until the event begins. However, if you register within one week of the event, your name badge will be printed upon arrival.
