About
Kin Knits acontece a 7 de outubro de 2026, Kin Collective, em Leith.
Learn to knit with your baby! Over 6 weeks you'll learn the basics, building up to knitting a cute pixie bonnet hosted by Jo. All materials are included and you can work at your own pace between sessions. Knitting is a lovely way to make something special for your little one, and is a great hobby to pick up and put down in whatever quiet moments you can find within the unpredictable schedule of life with a baby! If your baby is happy in a sling, we suggest bringing that so that you can have your hands free - but there'll be space to pop little ones down on a playmat, and we'll work at a slow pace with lots of breaks. If you are pregnant you are so welcome to join too. After the class there'll be a drop in knitting group - beginners are free to stay and practice, and if you already knit you can bring your baby and whatever you're working on. Crochet and other crafts welcome! But please no sharp needles/pins for safety. Schedule: 6 week course - Wednesdays at 2pm from 30th September to 4th November What's Included: - 6 guided knitting sessions - Wool and materials - Tea, chat and connection - Optional social crafting hour after class £36 for the full six week block including materials, with limited funded places available if cost is a barrier. Drop In Circle A relaxed drop in knit, crochet and crafting circle for parents and carers. Bring along your current project, practice your new skills, and enjoy a calm, creative space with others. Please no sharp needles/pins for safety. Weekly on Wednesdays at 3pm £4 drop in session with funded places available if cost is a barrier.
