About
Life Drawing acontece a 15 de outubro de 2026, Open House, em Brighton and Hove.
Draw is an independent not-for-profit art school who run professionally facilitated life drawing art classes. We will be drawing from a professional life model who will be holding a range of poses from 2 - 45 mins long, with music playing during the session and a short break halfway through. The untutored session is suitable for all abilities with beginners welcome - our experienced session leader will be on hand to give you any extra support you might need, so feel free to ask when you arrive. As this is a drop-in session, you can book ahead or arrive on the day and pay by card – we’re not able to take cash payments. If you have any questions just email Lance on lancelotrichardson@gmail.com. What you need to bring Please bring your own drawing materials, sketchbooks and drawing boards - some basic drawing materials are provided as a back-up if you don’t have anything with you. Please note: Our life drawing session takes place in a dedicated space which isn't suitable for dogs. Finding us The session is run at the Open House pub, 146 Springfield Road, Brighton BN1 6BZ, very close to Preston Park train station and lots of local bus routes; you’ll find directions HERE . When you enter the pub, ask at the bar for Life Drawing and they will be able to direct you to the drawing. There will be music playing and the bar serves food and a range of drinks, including local beers & soft drinks. Joining the community You can post your drawings on the Draw community Facebook group or tag @draw_brighton and #drawbrighton on Instagram – we always love to see what everybody has made at the sessions! Discounts The discounted rate is available for anybody on low income, full-time students or Draw Patreon supporters. You can become a Draw Patreon supporter for just a few pounds per month, giving you access to the discounted rate, tiered access to our extensive artist’s photo reference library, live online life drawing & portrait drawing classes, online recorded courses while supporting our programme of free drawing events. How do I find my photos?
If photos from this event are published on this page, a "Find my photos" button appears. Tap it, tick the consent box, allow camera access and take a selfie. TIME&SPACE uses face recognition to show you the photos you appear in.
Is my selfie stored?
For a short time, and only to find you. Your selfie is turned into a mathematical pattern that matches you to this event's photos. The photo and the pattern are both kept privately and deleted within 30 days, and are never used for anything else.
How fast does face recognition work?
Usually under 1 second. TIME&SPACE searches every photo from the event at once.
