On the Sea and Grief: with artists Carrie Stanley and Elena Stevanoska

On the Sea and Grief: with artists Carrie Stanley and Elena Stevanoska takes place on 11 November 2026. Venue: 83 Queens Rd, WRAP.

WRAP is honoured to invite you to a reflective, intimate discussion around grief and the sea. Artists Carrie Stanley and Elena Stevanoska will be talking about their grief journeys and creative exploration of healing with Wendy Pye, founder of Luna Arts. Luna Arts is a creative, women-led organisation specialising in socially engaged art workshops and projects that encourage connection, creativity, and well-being. Current projects focus on conversations about death, dying & remembrance through creative projects and workshops. Carrie creates work using the sea as a place for reflection and mirror of internal emotions. Elena’s practice delves into the psychological weight of spaces we inhabit and leave behind. Her work uses the sea as a vast, shifting metaphor for contemporary uncertainty, and here we navigate the line between finding home and feeling adrift. There will be opportunities to ask questions at the end. Each ticket includes a donation to Sussex Bay. Please note: to make this event as accessible as possible, we have implemented a two-tiered ticket band. If cost presents a barrier, please purchase a ticket under 'concessions'.
