Leadership Presence: practical strategies to support resourcefulness, growth and performance for leaders and teams Leadership presence as a concept will often focus on what is visible – a leader’s personal style, body language and confidence – and what this means for the leader’s performance and progression. In this session we will explore what else becomes possible for leaders, teams and colleagues when we use a different lens. Join Birketts and Pure Resourcing Solutions for a practical and interactive session that takes a relational, emotional intelligence-led approach to leadership presence. We will explore how this approach enables resourcefulness, growth and performance for leaders, teams and others, and the impact of this ripple effect on trust and psychological safety. What to expect This session will be hosted by Sonali Kumarakulasinghe , Consultant, Facilitator and Leadership Coach at SK Consulting. Sonali brings experience of supporting leaders and teams in a range of sectors, including pharmaceuticals, technology, higher education, financial services, and charities. She uses a Solutions Focused approach, inviting clients to use small-scale experiments to notice useful change and to navigate complex systems. She delivers team culture programmes, leadership coaching, and specialist certification training courses including the role of emotions in leadership development. Her expertise is in developing relational leadership capability, supporting leaders and teams to co-create sustainable culture change. Through peer conversations, Slido (an audience engagement tool that does not require downloads or logins) and practical application, you will: Use the Emotional Culture Deck, a research-informed approach, to explore leadership presence Use practical examples to consider how you can use this approach to support resourcefulness, growth and performance in different scenarios at work Identify intentions, behaviours and actions, with meaningful small next steps that you can put into practice straight away.
