Part storytelling night, part human gathering, part something you won't have a word for until you've experienced it - RAW is London's original storytelling night, and a first of its kind night out. NOTE: there's a lineup of 8 storytellers at each RAW, which are curated and selected before the event. This is not an open mic. RAW has been called one of the best nights in London. It's built a patchwork tribe of curious, creative, deeply human people who keep coming back - and keep bringing others. We run a pay-what-you-can structure, and we mean it. Higher-priced ticket sales are meant to allow the cheaper tiers to keep existing – thereby keeping RAW accessible for everyone. The cost of a ticket doesn't nearly reflect the love, care and time that goes into each RAW production. Instead, the price reflects our belief that quality of life is a birthright – not a privilege. THE RAW ORIGIN STORY RAW started decades ago among inner circles — an IYKYK vibe born from WDN founder Christine's insatiable curiosity and obsession with real, human stories. What began as sharing stories at lock-ins (Chris used to run bars), kitchen tables and street benches, has grown into a monthly night, ritual and community gathering at some of London's most interesting venues.
