Join us for an afternoon of reflection, plant widsom and deep rest. A space for Black women to reclaim what's always been ours. Conversation and journalling Led by Wellness Coach and Bridged Space co-founder Camille Backer We begin at the root. In circle, through guided journalling and group conversation we'll explore our relationship with rest, receiving and taking up space: what we inherited, what we let go of, and what we're ready to reclaim. You share only what feels right. Herbal heritage: tea blending with Omolara Herbal Led by medical herbalist Cherrelle Douglas An hour to settle into the body through the herbs we have long turned to for rest. Together we'll explore the history, traditional use and modern understanding of a small selection of calming plants, looking at how they support stress, the nervous system and sleep. You'll smell, taste and handle each one, then blend a tea of your own to take home. Somatic journey, Reiki and sound Facilitated by Cadanna Llewellyn , Holy Fire Reiki Master Teacher Close your eyes, soften your edges and let your body lead. This hour-long guided journey moves through breath, gentle movement and stillness, held by the healing tones of sound bowls and Reiki, before slowly returning you to the room. No experience needed. This is a welcoming, accessible space for Black women at any stage of their healing journey. ACCESSIBILITY NOTE: There's one step up into the building from the street with a wheelchair-accessible ramp. However, the practice room is up one flight of stairs with no elevator access.
