Samhain Rave Ritual Ecstatic Dance with Dj Osara

Samhain Rave Ritual Ecstatic Dance with Dj Osara acontece a 31 de outubro de 2026, Ostreme Community Association, em Mumbles.

🕯️ SAMHAIN ECSTATIC DANCE :: RAVE RITUAL :: NOS GALAN GAEAF Where ceremony meets the underground. Ancient roots. Future rhythms. With DJ Osara 🪶 This Nos Galan Gaeaf, we gather at the threshold between autumn and winter for a special Ecstatic Dance experience inspired by Samhain, Welsh seasonal traditions, and the ancient human instinct to gather, move, remember and renew. This is an invitation to step through the veil. To dance your shadows. To release what you no longer need. To honour those who came before. To celebrate being alive. This is not a party. This is a passage. 🌒 NOS GALAN GAEAF Nos Galan Gaeaf is the traditional Welsh name for Halloween, the night before Calan Gaeaf, traditionally regarded as the first day of winter. In Welsh tradition, it is a powerful seasonal threshold associated with spirits, ancestors, fire, divination, remembrance and the turning of the seasons. Many Welsh customs and stories have gathered around this night, including communal fires, rituals of protection and tales of spirits moving among the living. For this gathering, we draw inspiration from these Welsh traditions alongside the wider ancestral roots of Samhain, creating a contemporary ritual through music, movement, sound and community. Rooted in Cymru. Connected to the land. Open to the future. 🌀 ECSTATIC DANCE Ecstatic Dance is a free-form movement practice offering space for embodied expression, freedom and inner exploration. There is: No choreography. No dance experience required. No right or wrong way to move. Simply bring your body, your breath and your curiosity. Our dance space is: 🦶 Barefoot - connect with the earth 🤫 Non-verbal - let the body communicate 🌿 Sober - no alcohol or recreational drugs 📵 Phone-free - stay present 🤍 Consent-led & respectful - honour your own boundaries and those of others If you're completely new to Ecstatic Dance, you're very welcome. ⚡ DJ OSARA :: SACRED BEATS & UNDERGROUND RHYTHMS We're delighted to welcome Osara to Cymru for this special gathering. Osara is a DJ, embodiment facilitator and space-holder with Welsh, Scottish and Sámi roots. Raised on free parties in Wales, Osara began DJing as a teenager. His work brings together Ecstatic Dance and electronic music, weaving ritual techno, drum & bass, deep bass and driving rhythms into immersive experiences grounded in safety, connection and collective movement. His sonic journeys braid ancient textures with future-facing electronic sound, incorporating drums, shakers and yoik-inspired vocals. And this time, we're turning up the volume. 🔊 After usually experiencing our Ecstatic Dances through headphones, this gathering will be danced through a full sound system. No silent-disco headphones. Just the music. The room. The bass. And everyone moving together. 🔥 THE JOURNEY 💀 Ecstatic Dance meets Underground Ritual A raw, embodied journey where movement becomes expression, release and connection. 🎵 Sacred Soundscape Allow the music to take you through ritual, electronic and bass-driven soundscapes. 🕯️ Ancestral Altar & Collective Intention We'll create a shared altar to honour those who came before us and mark what we're ready to release or transform. You're invited to bring a small offering: a photograph, flower, stone or meaningful personal symbol. 👻 Costumes & Face Paint Welcome Come as your shadow. Your ancestor. Your wild self. Your future self. Or simply as you are. 🖤 A SPACE FOR RELEASE Nos Galan Gaeaf and Samhain invite us to pause at the threshold. To acknowledge endings. To honour our ancestors. To feel what has been buried. To release what we're ready to let go of. And to make space for what wants to emerge. You don't need to know how to dance. You don't need to perform. You don't need to understand the ritual. Just bring yourself. Let the music move you. Let the body speak. Let the old skin fall away. Dance the shadow. Burn the old. Honour the dead. Rebirth the light. 🌿 EVENT FLOW 6:00pm - Doors Open | Arrival & Check-In 6:15
