What is Spirit Tribe? Spirit Tribe is a community in Portugal. We host monthly events all over the country. We celebrate community. We practice permaculture. We play music. We eat well. We live in love. What is our mission? We believe that we all ought to have access to nutritious and delicious food. We want to share the sacred knowledge of growing our own food and helping us to become self-sustainable. Part of that practice is permaculture. What is Seedlings of Spirit? In this weekend we will teach many aspects of sustainable gardening (and living) through playshops. The event will start off with a community dinner and an Opening ceremony by the fire to set our intentions for the weekend. Early Saturday, we start with a coming together at Quinta Ten Chi for their community's early practice called Village. After that, guests will have some time to prepare themselves for the rest of the daily activities. Staying with Spirit Tribe at Quinta Ten Chi The event starts on Friday night. You can come for dinner and leave for a donation. Or you can stay Friday and Saturday night with in your #1 van or #2 tent (bring a blanket) Or you can stay Friday and Saturday night in the Quinta Dorm rooms. Queremos partilhar o conhecimento sagrado de cultivar a nossa própria comida e ajudar-nos a tornar-nos autossuficientes. Uma parte importante dessa prática é a permacultura. **O que é Seedlings of Spirit?** Neste fim de semana, vamos ensinar vários aspetos da jardinagem (e vida) sustentável através de “playshops”. O evento começa com um jantar comunitário e uma cerimónia de abertura ao redor da fogueira, para definir as intenções para o fim de semana. No sábado de manhã, começamos com um encontro na Quinta Ten Chi para a prática comunitária deles chamada “Village.” Depois disso, os participantes terão um tempo para se prepararem para as atividades do dia. Ficar com a Spirit Tribe na Quinta Ten Chi O evento começa na noite de sexta-feira. Pode vir jantar e sair para fazer um donativo. Ou pode ficar sexta e sábado à noite na sua carrinha nº 1 ou tenda nº 2 (traga uma manta) Ou pode ficar sexta e sábado à noite nos quartos do Dormitório da Quinta. Os preços são vistos no checkout. On Saturday afternoon (13h-17h), we will have multiple locations where playshops are being organized hourly during the day, so that the attendees can explore the land and learn some new skills along the way. The playshops will be the following: 1) Collaborative Group Activity - Restoring the Herb Spiral Each of us will play a part in creating a structure and replanting some of the herbs of the Quinta Ten Chi herb spiral. We will learn to use chicken wire, clay, concrete and clothes to make a beautiful place for our floral friends to grow. --PT-- Seedlings of Spirit. Atividades de Sábado. Na tarde de sábado (13h-17h), vamos ter vários locais com playshops organizados a cada hora ao longo do dia, para que todos possam explorar o terreno e aprender novas habilidades pelo caminho. Os playshops serão os seguintes 1) Atividade de Grupo Colaborativa - Restaurar a Espiral de Ervas Cada um de nós vai contribuir para criar uma estrutura e replantar algumas das ervas da espiral de ervas da Quinta Ten Chi. Vamos aprender a usar rede de galinheiro, barro, cimento e panos para criar um espaço bonito onde as nossas amigas plantas possam crescer. 2) Making Seed Shells Learn to put seeds and soil into a used toilet roll to create an object full of life to be planting in Spring. We will paint the seed shells, set an intention and they'll be ready for a magical spring time. --PT-- 2) **Fazer Cápsulas de Sementes** Aprende a colocar sementes e terra dentro de um rolo de papel higiénico usado, criando um objeto cheio de vida para plantar na Primavera. Vamos pintar as cápsulas de sementes, definir uma intenção, e elas ficarão prontas para uma Primavera mágica. 3) Fermentation Learn how to prepare vegetables and add ingredients to allow for the process of fermentation to take place. As a part of this experience, you will receive a jar to take home your fermented creation. --PT-- 3) **Fermantação** Aprende a preparar vegetais e a adicionar ingredientes para permitir o processo de fermentação.
