Learn about ADHD and the distinct ways women experience it from leading experts at this groundbreaking summit. Research shows that in childhood, boys are diagnosed with ADHD 3-4 times more than girls. By adulthood, the ratio evens out to nearly 1:1 highlighting how girls and women with ADHD are often misdiagnosed and misunderstood in the medical framework. With increased diagnoses and growing strains on the NHS and other support services, the ADHD & Women Summit aims to increase awareness and knowledge on the specific issues women with ADHD face. This will be Seed Talks’ largest event to date, with our best speakers, most engaging workshops and favourite partners all in one space. 🧬 Discover practical knowledge for navigating life with ADHD 👭 Connect with like-minded individuals with connection and networking sessions 🎓 Hear from leading experts – including those with lived experience and those working in the field 👩🏫 Immerse yourself in a full day of talks and workshops Talks and workshops include: ADHD & Connection ADHD, The Gut & Microbiome Internalised Stigma & ADHD Managing Stress with ADHD ADHD & Sleep Yoga Nidra for ADHD This event is specifically designed with people with ADHD in mind, so you can be assured to be entering a caring and supportive environment. There will also be opportunities for attendees to socialise and share experiences with each other. We aim to create an uplifting and liberating community who have been previously misunderstood. Speaker Bios: Pamela O'Hara is an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and PhD researcher specialising in adult ADHD, trauma, and dissociation. Drawing on extensive experience working within NHS mental health services and specialist therapy settings, she integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and Compassion Focused Therapy within a neuroaffirming and trauma-informed approach. Alongside her clinical work, Pamela's doctoral research explores internalised stigma, shame, self-criticism, and emotional wellbeing in adults with ADHD, with a particular interest in how compassion-focused approaches can support recovery and resilience. Sarah Osborne , BA (Hons), is an award-winning BANT registered Nutritionist, emotional eating specialist, and ICF ADHD Advanced Coach. She is the founder of So Nutrition – a leading UK nutrition practice dedicated to ADHD – and has worked with hundreds of clients to rebuild their relationship with food through evidence-based, neurodivergent-friendly care. With lived experience in her own neurodivergent family and a background in corporate life, she brings both professional expertise and personal empathy to every talk. Sarah is the author of four books on ADHD and eating behaviour, and a passionate advocate for a compassionate, science-backed approach to nourishment that works for real life. Dr Lucy Thompson is a research psychologist interested in early child development, neurodiversity, and parenting support. Her research work is driven by a passion for ensuring that all children and families can access the right services for recognising, understanding, and supporting mental wellbeing and functional difficulties associated with ADHD and related conditions. Hayley Broughton-McKinna is a qualified Associate Psychological Practitioner with over 10 years of professional experience across the Criminal Justice System, non-profit sector, and the NHS. She holds a BSc in Psychology from the University of Manchester and a Postgraduate Diploma as an Associate Psychological Practitioner from the University of Central Lancashire. Now serving as Training Director at PMAC, Hayley specialises in delivering psychologically informed, bespoke training and support to organisations across the UK, helping to translate evidence-based approaches into practical, impactful workplace solutions. Heather Darwall-Smith is a UKCP-accredited psychotherapist specialising in sleep and neurodivergence, working internationally at the intersection of psychotherapy, chronobiology and sleep medicine. She is one of very few psychotherapists dedicated to integrating depth therapy with circadian science and neurodevelopmental research. Heather holds a master’s degree in mindfulness-based psychotherapy and advanced training in multiple areas including sleep medicine, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) and Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy. Jen Wood is a coach, psychotherapist and wellbeing consultant who founded Jen Wood Wellbeing in 2016. After being diagnosed with ADHD during menopause in 2023, she now specialises in working with late-diagnosed neurodivergent women, offering a trauma-informed, compassionate, and solution-focused approach. She is passionate about helping her clients break free from shame and self-criticism, reconnect with their inner wisdom, and rediscover a sense of wholeness and self-acceptance.
