The Corporate Academy of Tomorrow
How do we design the corporate academies of tomorrow?
Artificial Intelligence is transforming the way we work. But is it also transforming the way we learn to work?
For decades, companies have developed talent through a combination of structured training, hands-on experience, and learning from more experienced colleagues. Today, many of the tasks traditionally assigned to junior professionals are precisely those increasingly being performed by AI.
If technology is changing how we gain experience, do traditional models of learning and talent development still make sense?
And in an economy where most companies lack the scale to build their own corporate academies, could new models emerge — more collaborative, personalised, and shared across organisations?
In this session, we will explore what the corporate academies of tomorrow might look like, bringing together global trends, research on the future of work, and different perspectives on learning, talent, and organisational transformation.
We are not starting with definitive answers. We are starting with questions worth asking and hypotheses worth testing.
Format
Exploratory and interactive conversation | 60 minutes
Speakers: Ana Costa & Patrícia Almeida
An open conversation between two professionals with complementary experiences and perspectives, drawing on what we already know, global research and emerging trends, and a few provocations about the future of learning within organisations.
Together, Ana and Patrícia will explore possible directions — from rethinking how people learn through work to imagining new models of corporate academies, including collaborative and shared learning ecosystems.
Rather than simply presenting ideas to an audience, we want to bring the audience into the conversation: challenging assumptions, sharing experiences, questioning existing models, and collectively exploring and testing possible answers.
More than a discussion about the future of corporate training, this is an invitation to think, question, and learn together.
