Following the incredible response to THE PERFECT STORM in Shoreditch London, Fashion Brand, HIBISCUS is bringing the experience to Lewes for a new immersive exhibition at The Soap Factory. The space will be transformed with elements of fashion, art, installation, performance, light, music and colour, giving visitors the chance to step inside the world of HIBISCUS and experience the new Perfect Storm collection up close. Expect bold, wearable art, atmospheric installations and striking visual moments spread throughout the building - all carrying the joy, excess and creative energy that made the original show such a spectacle. The launch night will feature music from DJ Prosumer, who returns after creating the sound for the original Perfect Storm experience, plus a complimentary cocktail on arrival. Part celebration, part exhibition and part immersive night out, this is for anyone who loves fashion with impact, art with personality, and spaces filled with colour, creativity and joy. 20% of proceeds from the event will be donated to Fauna & Flora - to help combat wildlife extinction. What to expect... 6pm – Doors open Arrive, grab a drink from the bar, explore THE PERFECT STORM exhibition, meet friends and settle into the space before the performances begin. Opening performance – Coco De Ville Coco opens the evening with a powerful performance of a piece written by artist Hannah Shillito, exploring bold female energy, empowerment and refusing to make yourself smaller. Orgy Hepburn Things then take a more unpredictable turn as Orgy Hepburn takes us into the things we think, say and perhaps shouldn’t say at all. Expect sharp humour, tension, movement and absolutely no limits on where the performance might go. 7pm – DJ Prosumer Prosumer begins a journey through house and disco, accompanied by a spectacular mirror-ball aerial performer with acrobatics, laser hands and shimmering movement overhead. Go-go dancers Mimi Chanel, Coco, Bex and Lali take to the stage, bringing full HIBISCUS energy to the room. Carley Hague performance To close Prosumer’s set, HIBISCUS founder and designer Carley Hague steps into the spotlight for a floral-inspired dance performance and reveal. Coco De Ville returns Later in the evening, Coco returns with a HIBISCUS-inspired burlesque performance. Then… more music, dancing and surprises until close.
