The Skints is zonder twijfel één van de meest opwindende bands die de Engelse skapunk-scene in de jaren 10 heeft voortgebracht. ‘East London reggae’ noemt het viertal hun rauwe mix van ska, dub, reggae, soul, hiphop, grime en punk-met-urban-attitude, met eerbetoon aan muzikale voorvaders als bijvoorbeeld The Clash, The Specials en The Selecter. Binnenkort brengen ze eindelijk hun langverwachte vijfde album 'Sour Tooth' uit en komen ze gelukkig ook weer naar de Melkweg!
