About
The Story Exchange: Restorative Justice acontece a 27 de outubro de 2026, The Clubhouse | Founder's Cowork Community, em Lisboa.
A documentary night for inspiration, agency and real conversation.
New to The Story Exchange?
Here's what to expect:
The Story Exchange is a monthly space in Lisbon to fuel yourself with inspiration, agency and possibility. We watch a documentary together, then gather in a circle and share what resonated with us. No lecture, no panel, just a powerful film and an honest conversation with people who are curious about the world.
This evening: restorative justice
Inside California's San Quentin prison, men serving time for murder sit in a circle with survivors of violent crime. Together they face what is usually left unspoken: the harm that was done, and the untreated pain, often passed down through generations, that lies behind it. The film follows their journey of accountability, empathy and healing.
It's a moving reminder that people can change, that harm doesn't have to be the end of the story, and that we are not bystanders in the society we live in. We have influence, and we can use it.
Why come? The Story Exchange is for people who want to connect over something deeper: to meet others through topics that matter, to hear different perspectives, and to leave feeling inspired rather than drained.
Good to know
- The film deals with violence and trauma, and is shown with care and a safe space for the conversation afterwards
- You don't need any background on the topic, just an open mind
- Come alone or with a friend, and leave knowing new people
- A portion of every ticket is donated to the association behind the film
