Bridging wine and crafts, join us for a ceramic workshop led by Julia from Red Figure Studio accompanied by a wine tasting by Izabela Kaminska. The ceramic workshop is led by Julia from Red Figure Studio who will teach step-by-step methods for clay moulding and guide you as you create your own shape and paint your pieces. Be creative, play with your hands, and pick up your piece once finished and glazed. All the while, wine specialist Izabela will introduce you to a variety of wines as she sheds light on their origin, unique characteristics and interesting facts. This workshop is designed for mainly beginners to intermediates of ceramic art and wine tasting but all abilities are welcome. IZABELA KAMINSKA Izabela has successfully built an empire on her YouTube channel with her co-host Tomasz Czudowski. They host a wine show called ‘Ale Wino’ which has nearly 10,000 subscribers. They introduce the wines and explain the story behind them and their winemakers, as well as invite various wine specialists on the show as guests. Izabela worked for the wine magazine "Winicjatywa" and two food magazines "SMAK" and “KUKBUK”. She is also a passionate wine educator who teaches in the Polish department of the WSET (Wine and Spirits Education Trust). She also teaches wine tastings, masterclasses and courses in French, Polish and English which are welcome to the public in Portugal, where she is currently based. JULIA Born in Burgos, Spain, Julia left her hometown at the age of 18 to study Art in Madrid (Spain), where she gained an interest in contemporary illustration. She has been living and travelling abroad since 2014. Her creative work is inspired by traditional patterns, colours, forms and artistic expressions from the various places she has visited over the years. She established herself in Portugal, where she started working with ceramics. Her creative process consists of combining pottery and illustration, giving birth to unique artisan pieces. Nowadays she's a well-established ceramic artist in Lisbon, where she also teaches new aspirants how to master the best clay hand-working techniques at Kintu Studio.
