Does it cost a photographer anything to join?

No. Joining is free for photographers. The event organiser who books you runs the event and pays for it. Photographers only pay when they own the delivery end to end and run the event themselves.

How does a photographer become an official partner?

There are two ways. Shoot one event with TIME & SPACE and you become an official partner automatically. Or complete your profile and apply to our roster directly, the list we staff from first when an event needs a team we assemble and pay for ourselves.

Does TIME & SPACE ever hire and pay photographers directly?

Yes, through the agency side of the business. We receive requests for events that need a team of photographers or videographers, and we assemble and pay that team ourselves. It is only open to photographers with a complete profile (photo, Instagram, city) who have applied to our roster. Platform work is separate: there, your fee stays between you and the organiser who books you, and TIME & SPACE takes no cut of it.

Can photographers earn money from TIME & SPACE?

Yes, in two ways. The referral programme pays a flat 10% of the event fee for every organiser you refer who runs a paid event within 90 days of signing up. And photographers with a complete profile who have applied to our roster are considered for agency team requests, which TIME & SPACE pays directly. Referral payouts are processed via SEPA bank transfer directly from your dashboard once you reach the €30 minimum threshold.

What photo formats does TIME & SPACE accept?

TIME & SPACE accepts JPEG, PNG, and HEIC. Upload your finished, edited files, the same ones you would deliver to a client. RAW files (CR3, ARW, NEF, DNG, and similar) are not supported. Photographers should export from Lightroom or Capture One before uploading.

Who handles GDPR compliance for face recognition?

TIME & SPACE handles the GDPR compliance for the guest flow. Explicit biometric consent is collected from every guest at scan time, selfie data is auto-deleted after 30 days, and data is stored in the EU.

How do photographers deliver photos to hundreds of guests without manual sorting?

Upload all your photos to TIME & SPACE once. Face recognition automatically indexes every person in every photo. Each guest opens the event link, takes a selfie, and finds their own photos without you doing any sorting, tagging, or manual distribution.

Can I work as a collaborator on another organiser's event?

Yes. Organisers can add you as a collaborator (editor role) on their event. You can then upload photos directly. All your uploads are merged into the same face recognition pool as other photographers on the same event.
