STARTER, ADVANCED or PRO: Choosing the Right Plan for Your Event
TIME&SPACE · Organiser's Playbook
Three plans, one real question: how many guests are coming, and does the gallery need to look like your event rather than like a generic tool. Everything else follows from those two answers.
STARTER, ADVANCED or PRO: Choosing the Right Plan for Your Event
In short: STARTER (EUR188) fits an event under 500 guests where the gallery can look plain. ADVANCED (EUR488) adds room for 2,000 guests and a branded gallery with your logo, colours and font. PRO (EUR888) is for anything up to 15,000 guests, with unlimited photos and the same branding as ADVANCED. Gallery retention is 365 days on every tier, and photo delivery works identically on all three: the difference is capacity and how the gallery looks.
Most organisers ask which plan is "best." That is the wrong question. The three tiers are not better and worse versions of the same thing. They are sized for different events, and the honest answer is almost always the smallest one that fits.
The first question is guest count, not budget
STARTER covers up to 500 guests and 1,500 photos. ADVANCED covers up to 2,000 guests and 5,000 photos. PRO covers up to 15,000 guests with no photo limit at all. A wedding, a small conference, or a single-room corporate offsite is a STARTER event almost by definition. A festival, a multi-track conference, or anything with more than one photographer shooting all day needs the higher photo ceiling before it needs anything else.
Count your guests honestly, including the ones who will not scan for their own photos. The plan is priced against how many people could attend, not how many will actually retrieve a photo. Sizing down to save money on a 3,000-person event is the one mistake worth avoiding: hitting a guest or photo cap mid-event is a worse problem than paying for headroom.
The second question is whether the gallery needs your brand on it
STARTER's gallery uses a plain TIME&SPACE look with your logo in the basic field. ADVANCED and PRO both include Event Branding: a custom primary colour, a custom background colour, your own font, and a custom cover photo on the gallery page guests actually open. If the gallery is one more surface a sponsor or a brand team will look at, that matters. If it is a utility guests visit once to grab their photos, it usually does not.
Event Branding changes the guest gallery page. It does not remove TIME&SPACE from the URL, the sender address on delivery emails, or the linked Privacy Policy and Terms, on any plan including PRO. A fully white-label setup, with a custom domain and no TIME&SPACE presence anywhere, exists only as a Custom arrangement by agreement, not as a feature you can add to a standard tier. If that is what you actually need, say so directly rather than assuming PRO includes it.
What does not change between tiers
Face recognition, the QR scan flow, download speed, and the 365-day gallery retention are identical on STARTER, ADVANCED and PRO. So is the guest download allowance: any guest can download up to 100 photos a day, with no limit at all on photos their own face scan matched, and that rule does not get more generous on a higher tier. Team members are unlimited on every plan too, so adding more photographers or collaborators is never a reason to upgrade.
That leaves exactly two real variables: how many guests you are actually inviting, and whether the gallery page needs to carry your own look. Answer those two questions and the plan chooses itself.
The short version
Count guests first: under 500 is STARTER, up to 2,000 is ADVANCED, up to 15,000 is PRO. Add Event Branding, meaning ADVANCED or above, only if the gallery page itself needs to look like your event rather than a generic tool. Everything else, including retention, download limits and team size, is the same on all three, so it never has to factor into the decision.
