How Many Photos Can You Download From Your Event Gallery

There is one download rule, and it fits in one sentence: 100 photos a day for anyone, no limit at all on the photos your own face scan matched. Here is how that actually works.

How Many Photos Can You Download From Your Event Gallery

In short: There is exactly one download rule, and it is the same on every plan. Anyone can download up to 100 photos a day. There is no limit at all on photos your own face scan matched, because scanning your face already proved they are yours.

Looking through an event gallery and tapping to save a handful of photos never runs into any limit. The rule only matters once someone tries to pull a lot of photos at once, and it is worth knowing exactly how it works before that moment.

The rule is one sentence

A hundred photos a day, for anyone who is not running the event. That is the whole policy. It does not get stricter for a bigger event and it does not get more generous on a more expensive plan: it is identical across every tier. There is one meaningful exception, and it is the one that matters to almost everyone reading this.

If your face scan matched it, it is unmetered

A selfie scan that found a photo of you already proved that photo is yours. Downloading it never counts against the hundred, no matter how many of your own photos there are. This is checked photo by photo, against the actual results your scan returned, so it cannot be worked around by guessing at photo links. If you came to the gallery through your own scan, the limit is not something you will ever notice.

Who the hundred applies to

The cap is for anyone browsing a gallery who was not scanned in. Being signed in to an account does not lift it. Only running the event does: an organiser, a collaborator or the photographer who shot it can download everything, because managing the gallery is their job. Signing up for an account is not a way around the limit, and nothing here suggests it should be.

Why it is per person, not per place

The hundred is counted per individual, using the same identifier the gallery already uses to remember you between visits, not by network address. A festival or a venue puts hundreds of people behind one shared connection, and a limit per address would hand that whole crowd a single shared allowance. Counting per person means your neighbour at the same event, on the same WiFi, has their own separate hundred.

What actually counts

Browsing the gallery costs nothing against the limit. Looking through photos, opening the full-screen view, scrolling the grid: none of that is a download. The count only moves when a photo is actually saved, which on a phone is the moment you choose to keep it, not the moment you look at it.

If you hit it

The limit resets the next day. If the photos in question are genuinely yours, the fix is not to wait: open the link from your own photo email instead of the general gallery, and those downloads do not count against the hundred at all, because that is exactly the matched case above.

The short version

Look at as many photos as you want. Save up to a hundred a day if you are not the one who ran the event. Save every photo your own face found, with no ceiling, because a face match is proof enough on its own.
