The Verified chip on a TIME&SPACE organiser profile is automatic after one real, paid or admin-assigned event. Never for sale, never for a draft.

The Verified Badge on a TIME&SPACE Organiser Profile: What It Actually Takes

In short: A small Verified chip appears next to an organiser's name on their public profile the moment their account has run at least one real event on a paid or admin-assigned tier. It is not a purchase, an application, or a manual review. A draft event does not count, and an unclaimed ghost listing does not count either.

A guest landing on an organiser's profile has no way to know, on sight, whether the account behind it has actually run an event or is just a name someone registered. The Verified chip exists to answer exactly that, in one glance, with no text to read.

What switches it on

The badge checks two things, both already true of the account rather than anything an organiser fills in:

  1. The account type is Organizer or Photographer. A guest account never shows it, whatever it has done.
  2. At least one event the account owns has a real, launched tier. That means the event's plan is not a draft: it is STARTER, ADVANCED, or PRO, either paid through Stripe or assigned manually. One qualifying event is enough. Ten draft events are not.

Both conditions are checked live against the database every time the profile loads. There is no separate flag to set, nothing to request, and nothing to pay for beyond running the event itself.

What does not count

A ghost event, the kind this platform imports automatically from public listings before anyone has claimed it, does not count toward verification, even when that same ghost event is good enough to have its own public page. An unclaimed listing being indexable and an account being verified are two different bars on purpose: showing an event publicly is about the event, badging an account is a claim about the person behind it, and a scraped listing nobody has confirmed ownership of cannot support that claim.

A deleted event does not count. A private event does not count. And a draft, however complete it looks to the organiser setting it up, does not count until it is actually launched on a paid or admin tier.

Why it works this way

The badge is deliberately not an achievement to chase or a status to buy. It answers one narrow question for anyone browsing a profile before they trust it with their email or their face: has this account done the one thing that proves it is a real organiser running real events. Running a single paid event answers that question completely, which is why the bar is one event, not five, and why nothing about reputation, follower count, or how long the account has existed enters into it at all.
